I extend my warmest felicitations to Mrs. Madhu Jain on the occasion of her forthcoming solo exhibition of paintings " Rajasthan a Kaleidoscope" in July 2004 in San Francisco.

Mrs. Madhu Jain is an enormously gifted artist who has left her own distinctive stamp on the Indian art horizon. Her innovation of using the eco - friendly medium of Nihonga - a Japanese technique - to create Indian motifs and themes is a unique treat for art - lovers. Mrs Jain's paintings capture the very heart of Rajasthan - the vibrancy of its colors and the beauty of its folk art.

I take this opportunity to convey my best wishes for the success of the exhibition.
